My mom is home after two days in the hospital. They took out the computer, but left the wires that run to her spine. The surgeon said he didn’t see any infection so he left the wires in. This could be a good thing or a bad thing.

If things clear up they can put the computer back in without having to re-do the wires, which are the tricky part as they go into the spine.

On the other hand if the wire are the problem they will have to do another surgery to take it out.

So keep her in your prayers.
