We’re currently in North Carolina and staying in a hotel with High Speed Internet, which is cool. The challenge is we all brought our laptops, which means there are 4 of use who want to connect. Each room has 1 ethernet plug and I’m the only one who had a ethernet cable. Everyone else normally connects via AirPort/WiFi.
The cool thing is Mac OSX has the built in the ability to share an ethernet connection over Airport. It took me a while to find it. (It’s under Sharing. Duh.) But once I did it was easy to set my machine up as a base station and share the connection for the whole family. Two clicks.
