Does anyone know why there are 5 numbers, randomly placed, in the left hand corner of the surf tool bar, and I have to click a specific one to go to the next site? Why isn’t there just a next site button?
I can guess. Someone wrote a script that waited 30 seconds and clicked the next button. Is that right?
Just seems kind of weird.
I can make a reasoned guess. The numerical pattern is obviously meant to defeat automated software agents that trawl sites for web addresses. Essentially it’s an anti-spam device.
I second the above guess. That’s exactly why they did it. And it’s not unjustified; spammerlink sites will hijack things like BE.
