DirectTIVO software the same as Stand Alone Software

According to this thread, you can take a drive with a back up of your stand alone series two software on it and put it in a directTIVO and it will work fine. Including the new HMO features and all the satellite features. This is kind of amazing from a technical point of view. You wouldn’t expect all of the software for the satellite features to be on boxes with out satellite hardware, but it is.
