Had two shoots this weekend. The one on Sunday was with a new model I discovered via myspace. She was great and I like the images I got.
I’m also trying out a new WP Plugin to handle display of images. It’s WP Lightbox, and uses the Lightbox javascript library to display images in the window after you click on the image. Don’t know what it will do if you are reading this from the RSS feed.
Nice pictures.
You have a wonderful eye for posing and general composition.
Thanks for the kind words Freddy.
Well, much though I hate to say that I dislike I toy, I have to be honest… I do not really like the Lightbox plugin… First, the thumbnails are not really thumbnails, but rather resized versions of the full-resolution images – this makes them somewhat long downloads, even for me on a cable modem (at least for thumbnails). Second, when clicked upon, the image is larger than I can see on the screen without scrolling. Now, granted, I am stuck in the stone age of 1024×768, but it is mildly annoying.
Beyond that, the pictures themselves continue to show off your definitive skill behind a camera.
Thanks Linoge. I had come to notice that the thumbs weren’t actually resized. You specify a thumb URL separate from the image URL, but I was lazy and didn’t point to the thumbs of these. I think I can fix it.
True the image is bigger than you can see in some cases. But it is bigger than you can see if on the page. And I’ve had horizontals be too wide for the page, or at least the main column, inline.
I still think it will work, but I need to tweak it some.
I changed the thumb URLs to thumb sized images, which should make it load faster.
It does indeed… Thanks for the tweak!
