It’s What You Don’t Do That Bugs You.

I had a big idea the other day. It was about church and how to do it different and better. But everyone I’ve talked to about it and related things doesn’t think its a good idea. They think the church needs to wait till it gets it’s act together before we do it. It was disappointing to say the least.

I’ve had some other ideas for things that never went anywhere.

Don’t know why this quote so speaks to me, but I first heard it as a Tony Robbins event I went to. It was attributed to Nelson Mandella, but the girl I was there with knew its original source.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

Marianne Williamson, “A Return to Love”

Today I saw another quote that expressed a similar sentiment.

“It is not impossibilities which fill us with the deepest despair, but possibilities which we have failed to realize.”
– Robert Mallett

Don’t have anything deep to say about it. Just feeling a little melancholy today.
