Friday Five Late

My friend Stephanie came up with her own Friday Five last week and I need to take a shot at it.

Your life is going to be made into a movie! What genre (horror, sci-fi, farce, comedy, drama, etc.) do you want it to be?

While I’d love for it to be sci-fi, it would probably be a romantic comedy.

Who would you want to write the screenplay? Who would you pick as the director?John Hughes would do both. He’s great at capturing the everyday man’s experience. Of course if I wanted it to get really interesting I’d pick Charlie Kaufman.

And the really important question – who do you want playing you? How about your spouse/significant other/best friend? Any other obvious casting choices for people in your life?

Bruce Willis. We have the same amount of hair and coolness. Julianne Moore for the Mrs. Beautiful redhead.

What song do you want playing during your first appearance onscreen?

How about Coming Back by The Crystal Method.

What’s the tag line, blurb, or whatever on the movie poster?

Better than he deserved.

What kind of blogger am I?

Surfing BE and ran across a blog that had one of these survey results in it proporting to tell you what kind of blogger you are. Wanting to know my own deep blogger personality I took the survey.

You Are a Link Blogger!

Your blog is more about cool links than thougtful posts.
Better to be entertaining and breif than longwinded and boring!
What kind of blogger are you?

Which is pretty much true.

Clean Sweep

Accordian Guy pointed to an online test to tell how good your life it. I started taking it and had to comment on some of the items.

Physical Environment
Total: 18

My car is in excellent condition. My car is. My wife’s is in the shop.

My appliances, machinery and equipment work well. (Fridge, toaster, lawn mower, water heater, hi-fi etc.).Almost got this one, but the lawn mower is in the garage because my wife and son mowed a strip around the yard and it conked out and won’t start.

Nothing in my environment harms me. I said yes, but I’m betting my diet is killing me slowly.

I have nothing around the house or in storage that I do not need. I’m a middle class American, I have lots of crap I don’t need.

I am consistently early or easily on time. Being early to work is a non-issue because my boss doesn’t let anyone but a family member have a key to get in. So if I’m early I get to sit in my car and wait.

Money
Total: 20

I live on a weekly budget which allows me to save and not suffer. It’s monthly, not weekly, but I update it almost daily.

I have excellent personal insurance. Define excellent. I think I have good insurance.

My will is up-to-date and accurate.I think it is. Probably need to check on it.

My earnings are commensurate with the effort I put into my job. This made me laugh. They aren’t commensurate, they are better than commensurate.

I have no “loose ends” at work. I don’t know what this means, so I said yes. I mean you’d know if you have “loose ends” wouldn’t you.

Well-being
Total: 14

I am aware of the physical or emotional problems or conditions I have, and I am now fully taking care of all of them. Mmmm… not sure what this one means either. So I’m going to say yes.

I consistently have evenings, weekends and holidays off and take at least four weeks of holiday each year.Four Weeks! I wish.

Relationships
Total: 25

Perfect Score! Good because I was seriously hurting in the Well-Being department.

Total score:77

An interesting test. I could easily five points. (Go to dentist, get a physical, get my eyes examined, clean the house, fix the lawn mower)

Adding more would be tough, but I probably really need to do it. Might look back at this in a few weeks.
