We’ll I just finished week 5 of the running program. Except, as I just realized, I screwed it up. I did the exercise for day 1 all three days. So I think I’m going to have to repeat week 5, which is a bummer.
But on a positive note I decided today I was going to do my whole run on the track so I could time how long it took me to do a mile and compare it to what I was doing in January. As part of the physical fitness test I did on Jan 23 I ran a mile in 15:49.
Today I did my run and did run 5, walk 3, run 5, walk 3, run 6. I finished the first mile in 11:56. The whole 2 miles took 21:54. Remember there was three whole minutes of walking in the first and only part of the second 5 minute run.
Of course I should have been running the whole time. Oh well. Maybe next week.
